This week, the children have all experienced a taste of life in their new classes, as we all had three transition days.
The new Giraffes and Lions spent the time playing 'getting to know you' games, doing maths puzzles, writing stories and representing themselves through artwork. It was a great opportunity to get to know each other.
Of course, the year is not yet over, and we are back in our usual classes now.
A reminder that, next week, we will be undertaking a week of sex and relationships education, and the children will be learning about saying 'no', gender stereotyping, rules around touching and consent, puberty and how babies are made.
