Weekly news 5th December 2019

In English, we are coming to the end of the 'Pugs of the Frozen North', an ending which is both happy and sad. The children will be writing a newspaper report reporting on the whole race.

In maths, we have continued to explore factor pairs and how they can be used with 'associative law' and 'commutativity' to help us carry out mental multiplications.

In science, we have continued to explore solids, liquids and gases by creating reactions which change the states of materials. We inflated balloons by making carbon dioxide from bicarbonate of soda and vinegar.

We followed this up by making and packaging bath bombs in technology.

Hopefully we will see you all at the Christmas fair tomorrow evening to listen to the song that the children have prepared to perform.
