On Friday, please could you revise the words on the list here. These words are some of the National Curriculum words for year 4. You can learn the words in the same way that you learn your weekly spellings, or use the sheet as a handwriting lesson every Friday. If you are finding them rather tricky, you could try to learn half of them please, that would be great.

Topic
This week you will be historians looking at artefacts. Please read through this power point first and then have a go at the activities below.

LO: Recognise that living things can be grouped in a variety of ways.
Go on a nature walk where you will find lots of trees. Take some photos or sketch some of the leaves. Be sure to look carefully at the shape and size of each different leaf and the arrangement of the leaves on the twig. When you get home, you could download and use the app on this website to help you identify different leaves and trees and take the quiz too:
Virtual Big Sing
The Virtual Big Sing 2020 - Sing along with the stars including Jessie J and Nicola Roberts from 'Girls Aloud'. With your parent's permission, register for the Virtual Big Sing using their email address at: https://www.norfolkmusichub.org.uk/site/the-virtual-big-sing-registration-form/
You will receive a welcome letter with the log in details for Charanga YUMU - an online music website. Follow steps 1-4 at the top of the welcome letter and once logged in, select 'Assignments' to launch the 'Virtual Big Sing 2020' resources. You can learn some or all of the songs as you wish. The Virtual Big Sing will take place on YouTube on Friday 19th June at 2pm (if you miss it you can join in with the re-play on Sunday 21st June).
Performance day Friday 19th June 2pm
- You will be sent a code on the morning of the Virtual Big Sing and instructions on how to tune in to the stream
- Tune in at 2pm and join Mark De-Lisser and friends who will be joining you from around the world in with your performance
- Don’t forget to dress up in your best party clothes and party with us!
